BONGBONG MARCOS FIGHTS FOR THE POOR with his new CAMPAIGN to SCRAP "HOSPITAL POLICIES" for all PRIVATE HOSPITALS in the COUNTRY!

In his quest for being pro-poor, BBM called for his friend and ally, President Rody Duterte, to help him fight for the rights of the poor. BBM is aware that most poor patients in the country who seek immediate medical help at private hospitals are either turned away or assisted unsatifactorily. A lot of complaints had been made public in social media, newspapers or in television regarding patients not admitted quick enough to be given immediate and proper care by doctors and nurses due to the hospital policy wherein if the patient do not pay a certain amount for a deposit, they will have to be set aside. Some of these patients die of neglect. Some of them get other complications. Marcos has been really firm on his stand to help the poor in anyway he can. Despite his loss, his heart is still for the poor and those who need him. Way to go, BBM! Let's hope his plea will be heard by his friend, the President himself, nonetheless. After all, if change is coming, it should be an over-all change of the who faulty and anti-poor system, right?

  3. There had been several times that people are turned away due to lack of money to satisfy the hospitals. Many die because they are put aside until the relative or member of the family can provide funds. They are forced to commit crimes like robbery as result of non other remedy. This is the result of privatization. If the government will remove privatization and bring back as public free for all, perhaps the doctors can be paid from the government. Or introduce medical insurance affordable to all especially the poor.

  7. Just 2 months ago my poor sister in law had a stroke and needs to be rushed to the nearest hospital. Three hospitals had refused her till they run out of options so they have to call us here in HK to ask for P50k as required deposit by the hospitals.

  8. This has to stop. What if this patient is bleeding, or about to give birth? Hospitals should not require a deposit, and should not look at the patient's social status. I am in favor of removing this unfair practice. Saving a life is more important than money.

  9. But how scraping hospital policies change the dismal way they treat the poor? Know what is in the hospital policies that prevent private hospitals from not treating the poor sick people properly? The hospital is a private hospital. It is run to make profit. The poor cannot pay, where will the pay for doctors and nurses come from? Nanloloko Lang yan! Kahit na kabobohan malagay lang ang muks sa diyario Hindi bale na. Minsang magpaloko e huwag na kayong paloloko uli!!!.

    1. Seriously? Stupid comment from a stupid person calling an experienced politician's proposal as "kabobohan". This will be subsidized by the government of course. That is why it is proposed to help those who can not afford the hospitalization. Meaning, the government will pay part of the cost, if not all, to the private and / or public hospitals.

  12. Im one who is praying for a free hospitazation here in Philippines like other countries.I worked in a govt hospital in KSA,everyone is enjoying a free hospitalization there,be it rich or poor.I hope it will be implemented here too in soonest time possible. Many poor people just suffer and die right in their homes for the fear of paying bills and encountering unjust treatment from the medical people.BBM pls.push this through.

  15. Hindi lang private hospital lang may gaining kaso, even public hospital nanghihingi rin ng downpayment bago asikasuhin ang pasyente kaya kung nakaka bwesit ang mga private hospital na hindi tinatanggap ang ma pasyente na walang pera how much more na nakakabwesit yung mga hospital ng goberno na nag a ask ng downpayment bago iadmit yung pasyente. Dapat walang bayad yung public hospitals?
